Is Google Adsense Dead?

The straight answer is no. At least the answer is no in regards to the Google Adsense program. When it comes to odds whether or not you or I as web publishers and affiliates wishing to make money using Google adsense still stand a chance, well that's a different question.

The numbers of website publishers trying to make a fortune, or even a modest income, using Google adsense has exploded over the past several years. With such a crowded field the web viewing audience has become numbed. Think about it, almost every website you visit has a Google Adsense ad begging to be clicked. After a while we just start to ignore them or worse, we begin to become annoyed. And just when things couldn't get any worse…BAM!

Or should we say, BING!

Microsoft's new Bing search engine has begun taking on Google for the hearts and minds of website publishers and affiliates. At this time Microsofts version of "Adsense" is still in the Beta stage with a few e-programs on how to make money using it trickling in here and there. I personally have begun promoting one such program, Bing Billions.

So, how much money can you still make as an affiliate or work at home web publisher with Google Adsense? The question is, how much do you want to make? Are you willing to work hard for it? And do you have the time to spend working the Google Adsense program?
These are the questions you must ask yourself in order to answer that question.

Look at it this way: how many business opportunities come your way where the only requirement is hard work and the time it takes to work hard? Not many. Almost any business venture requires some kind of start-up effort. Nobody is just going to hand the money to you.
